Well the home life sounds as if it is being blessed immensely! I know that the people here are being blessed as well! The work never seems to stop, and in every which way you look you see the Lords hand in it all! Well on Saturday we had our first bap. It was a lady that my companion taught before I got out in to the field. The service was beautiful! The spirit was sooo strong in that room! The ward here is awesome and back us Elders up 100% and its amazing! The turn out from the ward at the bap was crazy, I sent some pictures of me and the other Elders that are in our area.
Its crazy how much the mission truly changes you as a person, I have learned that this is not a mortal state with a few spiritual experiences, this is a spiritual state with mortal experiences. We all are the same people here in this life as we were in the premortal life. We all know of the truths we all know the joys of this great and ever lasting gospel, its just we cant fully remember. And that is what we have to do in this life, help others understand and remember those things which we have forgotten. The guidance of the Holy Ghost is not a foreign thing to anybody, we all no matter what have had some kind of guidance from the spirit. We have to help the realize that and understand that, if we can do that the Lord will take care of the rest. And I have seen that in my work this week. Its truly amazing to see that through me giving my Heavenly Father my time and all my energy he blesses the work and me. We have 2 baptisms coming up next month and we have reactivated 3 people in the last week. Its truly amazing!
I have gotten a bike from the ward, we are not allowed to buy our own bikes. But we are allowed to use our own personal money to fix up the bikes we have.... Ha its cool I love the mission :) Here the weather is kinda been bad we have had a lot of snow lately. Its even snowing right now as i type ha. We are supposed to get 11in today so walking around in this weather is supper fun ;) And that is so crazy that Zach got his call to Paris!! Should have seen that one coming! And i think its is truly amazing that all these young men are taking heed to the call of a prophet and devoting and ever early part of their life's to the Lord! We are seeing it here in the mission already, this morning we got 24 new missionaries next transfer we are getting like 34! The work is truly hastening! I LOVE THIS WORK! I dont think I can say that enough, I love teaching these people the gospel and bringing the true joy that i feel every day to them and letting them get to that point! Well everyone is continually in my prayers! I love you all!

Well trust me Mondays are my favorite day of the week too!! Ha well today it has been officially a month sense i have stepped foot in this wonderful land of PA! Here is a list of things i have come to know in this month.
1. There are no s here... The ones they say are, are like foot hills.
2. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, might, mind and strength. Cause with out you truly are nothing out here in the field.
3. Love your companion even if he is a dink that you might want to punch in the face just a little...
4. Missionaries are weird....
5. Bleach on the G's don't work....
I am sure that there are many many more things that i have come to know, but off the top of my head those are just a few.
So this week has been an amazing one! Remember those 7 year investigators i was telling you about? Yeah well this stud of a missionary and the Lord....... and i guess my companion ;) we set them with a baptism date! :D The 20th of next month! We also have had no other appointments with any one until this week. It seems as if things just pop out of no where and come before us! I know that it has been through mine and my companions faith and diligence in the work that the Lord has put these people in front of us! It actually has helped me and my companion come closer through seeing the fruits of our labor! As you have said Mom the Lord is aware of the things which we need most! Something I have come to know with all the surety in the world is when we ask for things our Heavenly Father never says no, he gives us three answers, yes, not yet, or I have something better in mind. Other than that we have our free agency to listen to all of that. I remember distinctly the night Devin passed away (sorry I keep bringing it up but looking back that is the time in my life i grew the most and i could see the Lords hand in my life) going outside to pray. In this prayer I pleaded with my Heavenly Father to please give me my best friend back. And the thing i distinctly remember is the Lord saying to me, is i have something better in mind. I do have a very strong testimony in prayer and that it is a tool given to us to talk with our Heavenly Father. It along with all the other tools or gifts given to us is something that will never wear out. Use it to the fullest! Remember to have family scripture study, always say personal prayers, and always remember your baptismal covenants! We must remember that we are Children of God and in being so we always must show our love for him! As in Matthew 18, the apostles ask Christ how it is we can gain eternal glory. And he calls a child over and says we must become like children. I thought to myself for a long while about that one, why a child? Why not just grow up and know all that we can? It is because we must humble ourselves enough to put all of our trust in the Lord. Become dependent on him and his Gospel, as a child is dependent on a parent. Its amazing the things you can find in the scriptures! I love them all!
Well if you are curious as to when i am coming home, I head home on January 26th 2015. Only 97 more Sundays left! ;) ha I love this work, I love this Gospel, I love the joy i feel in knowing that i am a son of God. Please strive to find people to share this great and amazing message with. It is what we are here to do, being blessed to know the great and eternal truths. Bring that joy we feel to everyone! We are enlisted until the conflict is ore! I love all of you! I pray for everyone back home, I hope through that you may be able to feel of my love!
Oh i put some pictures on, one is me and my companion being missionaries. The other is the results of leaving a pen in the pocket of your church shirt and put it in with some of your garments..... Its fun.

HAHA thanks for letting me know that i am not forgotten! It means the world to me that you have said that ;)
Well the fruits of our labors are coming forth! We had a few less actives come to church yesterday, i'll tell you that story in a min, but we also had these investigator of 7 years come to church! 7 YEARS!! I was so excited! Like i dont know how to put in to words how excited i truly was! After Church was over I was sitting next to Dennis one of our investigators, he looked over at me with the biggest smile on his face. He just kinda sat there for a second and said "3 hours thats it?!? I could go for 4 or 5 ours of this!" How awesome is that?!?! I mean I have a hard time with 3 hours some days and he was sitting there asking for more! I am in love with the work I am able to do!
Okay so back to the less active members. In Hershey they have a main street that is called Chocolate Ave. cool huh ;) But anyways all our plans fell through and we had an hour and a half left until we could really go back home. So we decided to go street contact. It seemed like a good idea, but as we walked up and down the street we had a lot of people yell some pretty degrading things at us. So to give you an idea, the whole time I have been here i have only had 4 people do things like that to me and my companion. That night in less than an hour we had 10 people yell at us and even had someone try to spit on us.... Needless to say I was discouraged. There were somethings that were said to us that were real nice like a lady congratulated us on being Mormons, saying that she wished she could be like us but just didnt want to take the effort to try. So now i bet you are thinking hey what about those less actives, well the awesome thing is that through us walking up and down that street they saw us walking. And they were touched by the spirit and came back to church the next day! Amazing, that's all i can say!
Well its embarrassing to say, but i am having a rough time with getting along with my companion.... And you know me, i usually can get along with anyone and everyone. But we are just totally on different pages. My thought process does not match up with his. And the way he goes about things just doesnt make sense! I try not to get discouraged, but it is hard. Like today he has seen me wearing my Devin bracelet the whole time I have been here and i have told him what it is all about. And today before our companion study he sat there and was telling me to take it off, i nicely said that this is the thing that keeps me going so no i will not take it off. He looked at me and said you will no longer have the spirit with you. Haha you know hard it was for me to refrain from just taking him out... Its embarrassing to say that is how i felt.. And there have been many times where he will turn down my ideas when i know for a fact that i have received a prompting from the spirit. I guess what i am trying to say is that i sure hope that there is something i am meant to learn from thing from this Elder..
Well to answer you questions yes i got my camera! Its a nice cute shade of pink.... The box said it was supposed to be black... HAHA and yes will you buy another memory card so we can send them back and forth to each other? The kind i got is a Sandisk and its a 8gb. So if you buy one and send it to me i can send you the one i have right now and you can see the pictures and videos i have and put them on the computer. Well I love you all! I miss you like crazy! You are all in my prayers every single day!

YOU honestly have no idea how happy i am right now hearing that news!!! I have had this reoccurring dream of me waking up in my old room but i was still on my mission.... I dont even know what that means but thats crazy that i have been having this dream and you are moving back!! Like AHHHH the Church is true!! :D Will you be there until after my mission?!?! I sure hope so cause that is home! I have this burning desire right now that, that choice you have made is huge and that it is the most right thing you can be doing right now!! WOW i am pretty much speechless!! I am just truly happy right now that is the best way to describe my feelings...
So any ways answering your questions I am doing pretty great! A LOT to adjust to but as Gordon B HIncklys father told him "forget yourself and go to work" I have taken that to heart! The first night that i got here was rough.... I was the most homesick i have ever been! But the next day i prayed all day and honestly i can say that i am doing AMAZING!! The weather here is kinda crazy, we get days where it can be nice like in the 50's and others that are like 30's and below. Here in Hershey from the sound of it they dont get to much snow here, plus we are on the down side of winter so no i have not gotten my boots yet. My companion is Elder Rasmussen, no relation to coach rass, but he is related to some people from tremonton. His family is from Orem. He has lived there his whole life! We live in a brand new app. its is so nice! We do not live with any members. The ward boundaries here are like the ones in O'fallon HUGE!!! The ward here is amazing!! Here in Hershey they have the Hershey med center. So full of Dr. and there familys. We get fed pretty well ;)
This week has been super slow.... Here in Hershey there is a lot of people that just aren't open to hearing the message we have to give to them. It makes it hard honestly. Hershey is an old old town so there is a lot of people just stuck in there ways and are happy. Which is fine, I just wish that i could help them a little more with the message we have. Cause if they are happy now, think of how happy they could be with the restored Gospel. I know that the Gospel brings only the best of feelings to anyone who is willing to just hear us out, and take in to their hearts this message. We did how ever get to talk with some people around our place and made some good friends, like Mr Willy he is an old retired truck driver, who has a talking bird.... Its the coolest thing in the world!! Oh and i cant forget Shirley! Shirley is a convert of a little over a year which means she can go to the temple! She is the coolest person on the planet. She is so loving and kind to any and everyone! I love her! She gets to go to the temple this weekend and will be sealed to her husband who passed away about 17 years ago. Now you see Shirley is gettin up there in age, her health is going down and its the saddest thing ever. She keeps saying to us that she has only held on this long to sealed to her husband and than she can let go. And that honestly makes me so sad... I dont want her to let go. She is my favorite person in the world! Well I love you all! Talk to you later!
