This has been the longest week of my life!! So Monday we had to do all that with that Elder that was going home, well we found out after all that, that we had to go pick another Elder up to take him home.... So many missionaries going home early. And we have had to solve problems with missionaries not getting along... Man by the end of Wednesday i was ready for that week to be done!! Ha it was for sure a long week...
But now we are on to a new week! We have transfer board this week, so President Johnsons first one then we have our biggest report that we do in this area due this week, and we also have MLC with trying to get logistics done... ;) Its gonna be a busy week! But it really does help with having a busy week, it makes it all seem a lot easier and faster cause this is stuff that i will actually enjoy doing ;). But yeah i went over to York PA this week and did some exchanges over there with these two Elders it was actually pretty fun! They took me to this less active guys house who was nuts! Like he was pretty much wanting to make his own break off of the church that was fun ;). Got to visit this guy with all these exotic birds i mean this was a high class exchange here ;). So i found out this last week that President Johnson is going to keep me here for another transfer to help out with stuff. So i am actually really excited about staying here for all the cool stuff that is happening in our area here. Suzanne is the lady with cancer and she kinda dropped off the face of the earth wont call us back and all this jazz, somewhat depressing. But Nick the guy that i have been working with the whole time i have been here is buying some meds that will help him quit smoking! So he is set with a date and i am so hoping and praying that this medication works!! Please keep him in your prayers as well. The more prayers that go out for this man the more Heavens help will be bestowed upon him! Plus its the weekend right before i get transferred and President Topham said that he would come out and do the baptism so it would be sweet to see him!
President Johnson is settling in nicely i think! He has taken the ball and is running with it! He is pretty amazing! And Sister Johnson has to be one of the most loving people i have ever met in my life! She is AMAZING! We always joke that she is the Mission President secretly, that she is just using President Johnson as her cover. That all came because when they werent even out here i had a dream about the new mission president and his wife, that they were trying to take over the world and he hired new aps over Elder Shields and i. And they were going around in this UFO and beaming people up.... It was a crazy dream! But i told them about that and President Johnson was all no i would never do that, but Sister Johnson she might ;). They are awesome people. Their son Andrew will get here next week and that will be exciting to have him here to meet him and hang out with him. Sister Johnson was actually talking to us about a blog the other night so i think she will be doing on no worries :).
Really not to much happened here in good ole PA, but I do want you all to know that I love being out here! I may be so tired to the point where i dont feel like going on anymore. But the gospel is my pearl of great price. I am willing to give it my all :)! I have seen a lot of people out here that have be beaten by the world to the point where they think that there is no return, that where they are at in life is where they will have to stay because there is no way out. But with the gospel being such an amazing pearl we should be wiling to give up everything to gain all. I was reading in Mormon chapter 9 this morning and it was Moroni pretty much rebuking a lot of people, but he made the statement along the lines of we will be more happy in the presence of our Father in Heaven then we will be with our worldly happiness. Every time in my life when i have felt like i am missing something to my happiness i have always found that missing piece in the gospel :). And it has given me a way out of these feelings of there is no return. And that is what i get to tell those people that i see that feel that way. With our Father in Heaven there is a way out, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ :). If our lives are centered on Jesus Christ then we will always be on that strait and narrow path, with ladders reaching the tops and with bridges across some of the deepest ravines.
I love you all!! :)
