Happy Easter yin's  (yin's is like y'all here in PA)
Well my Easter here was pretty good! Ha its my first real holiday being away from home and it was a little weird. But honestly i felt right at home. I did get to go to a members home and have a very good dinner. We stayed after and painted some eggs! The ward out here is pretty awesome, they love us elders and its awesome to see them back us up with the work. Well we had another Bap this week, and another one coming up on the 20th of this month! And we are teaching plenty of other people! The work here is truly amazing! The people may be stuck in their ways here but the Lord will always open doors for us if we are exactly obedient and putting our full trust in the Lord. Its something that i have been working on, putting my trust in the Lord. Its really not as easy as it sounds. Putting your trust in the Lord and knowing that he will take care of the things that need taking care of, for some reason was never easy for me. But out on the mission that is what you truly have to rely on. In Matthew ( i dont know if i have already shared this) the Savior teaches us that we are supposed to become as children. And why like children? Because children are fully relent on their parents or on all other adults. We must become totally relent on our Heavenly Father. We are to walk with Faith not by sight.
Well conference is coming up and i honestly have never been more happy for a conference in my life haha! To hear what our prophets and apostles have to counsel us in has taken on a whole new light in my life! The things that they have to say are the things out Father in heaven wants us to hear, why not give your whole attention to that? And its kind of funny, taking the time to actually study talks more and listen to them you start to notice that these things are nothing new to us. We know them but it takes the prophet talking to us to bring that to our attention. But i guess what i am trying to say is take head to what the leaders of the church have to say! Always strive to walk down this strait and narrow path! I love the analogy of the straight and strait! Its awesome!
Well this week has been kind of a slow one... Its been good just slow, not a lot got done this week. And it makes me sad to see it go like that. I am always feeling like we should be in peoples houses and teaching 24/7. But this week it has not been like that... But that just means we have to make up for it this week. This last week on Wednesday we had the chance to help these two guys push their car up a hill. Its crazy how receptive people can be when you show to them kindness first. These two guys have never heard of our church at all! Weird huh?! We had a good talk with them, they ended up taking a Book of Mormon! It was awesome! They didnt live in our area but hopefully we planted a seed in their hearts! :)
I did get my license, i took care of my card. Please let grandma know that. And i did get the package! Thank you so much! Please know that you are all in my prayers and i love you all so much! Nic get feeling better! I love you little man :) I hope all is well with all of you :)
